Swings Schubert Alley (Verve Vault)

Mel Tormé was in peak form on Swings Shubert Alley, his 1960 set of Broadway standards with the renowned Marty Paich Orchestra. It is a brilliant meeting of musical theatre and jazz, and remains one of the standout releases from Tormé’s Verve years.
