Tango N'Vectif (The Complete Sessions - All the Tracks and Extras)

This edition of µ-Ziq's Tango N'Vectif brings together the original 1993 Rephlex vinyl album with extra tracks from the original Rephlex CD, the R&S EP, the Rephlex reissue, plus several unreleased tracks and alternate mixes, all remastered from DATs by Beau Thomas.

Released in a landmark year for electronic music, Tango N'Vectif was written by Mike Paradinas in his late teens with help from Frank Naughton. Its mix of early Aphex influence, Detroit techno and UK hardcore still sounds inventive, playful and sharply melodic.

Working without a computer at first, Mike Paradinas built tracks with drum machines, live keys and a 4-track recorder before teaming up with Frank Naughton and his Atari 1040ST. After a demo reached Aphex Twin, Rephlex signed the album, with original artwork and photography by Richard James.
