Last year the Dutch psychobilly band Batmobile released their first album in nearly 20 years called Brand New Blisters. For the 2018 edition of Record Store Day they will release a special 7 inch single including their songs Teenage Lobotomy (The Ramones) and Frankie got a Quiff (Crazy Cavan and The Rhythm Rockers). It’s pure rock ‘n’ roll as we know it with a blend of punk rock. Batmobile is trio from Rotterdam / Breda that is regarded as one of the first and most prominent Dutch groups in the psychobilly genre, a more energetic and quicker version of the elementary rockabilly, infused with texts about money, gorillas and extra-terrestrial monsters. 500 Copies Only.
