Beautifully well-crafted debut from Colchester based musician Ady Johnson. While it could be described as 'no-frills,' "Tell The Worry Dolls" is actually a masterfully executed collection of heart-felt songwriting harking back to classic 70s songwriting, with a well-recorded sound taking in string instruments, brass and enough twists and turns in the narrative of the songs to continually hook in the listener's ear. Johnson is also in possession of an honest, affecting voice that powers along the narratives within.
