While it sounds like it's just going to be an odds and sods collection, there's plenty of interesting stuff happening here...being NWW it's pretty hard to describe, though, a constantly shifting patchwork of drones and rhythms and weird vocal samples that can vary from big band silliness to danceable African polyrhythms to cold techno darkness to ambient smokiness in the space of a minute or two. Very skilfully done as always, but as you'd expect from such a collection it flits about a bit and there's no thematic focus to speak of, just endless disorienting sonic patchworks. "
