In the early ’70s, Scotland’s fiercest hard-rock outfit came together when Glaswegian solo maverick Alex Harvey joined the virtuoso players in Tear Gas. The result was explosive: a sharp, unruly mix of prog, glam, proto-metal, soul, music hall and twisted cabaret.

It’s a sound that feels somewhere between Roxy Music from the mean streets and Led Zeppelin with extra razzmatazz, full of character, swagger and invention.

This 10-CD set brings together all seven albums the band recorded with Alex Harvey, including Live, and adds Four Play, recorded while Harvey was taking a break from the band and released as SAHB (Without Alex).
