The Ballistic Brothers x Dub Flex EP

Acid Jazz revisits the Ballistic Brothers catalogue with a sharp new remix project from Dominic Dawson, gathered on one 12” EP.

Dawson has been behind underground club favourites since the 1990s, including the UK Top 30 hit Shake It Baby as Hydraulic Dogs. His releases span Defected, Strictly Rhythm and R&S, alongside remixes for The Chemical Brothers, Orbital and A Man Called Adam.

The Ballistic Brothers carved out a sound that brought together funk, reggae, boogie, hip hop beats and house, led by Rocky and Diesel of X-Press 2, Ashely Beedle and David Hill. Here, Dawson takes on Blacker, Peckings, Jah Jah Call Me, Come On and A Love Supreme.
