The Banishing

New album by Kavus Torabi, current frontman of Gong, one third of The Utopia Strong (with “interesting” Steve Davis) and previously of Cardiacs, Knifeworld & Guapo. A multi-instrumentalist, he is known for his work in the psychedelic, avant-garde rock field (primarily as a guitarist). Kavus is about to set off on a European tour with Gong and is the artist in residence at this years Roadburn Festival, where he will perform a specially commissioned show “Lion of the Lords Elect” as well as a solo set focused on material from The Banishing.
