The Beautiful Stories

Previously known as Invasionen, INVSN (pronounced “Invasion”) initially started as a project for Dennis Lyxzen, prominently known as the lead vocalist of the Swedish hardcore punk band Refused. Lyxzen, who also led fellow hardcore band AC4 and the more garage rock inspired The (International) Noise Conspiracy), started INVSN in as a way of producing 70s and 80s punk and power pop. INVSN eventually became a full band operation in 2005, and after a change in name in 2013 for a self-titled album, Lyxzen was joined by a circle of well-known Swedish artists. Most prominent is Anders Stenberg, of the acclaimed Swedish band the Deportees and Lykke Li’s touring band, alongside Christina Karlsson and Andre Sandström.
