The Dark (Photobooth Series 016)

Chelsea Wolfe enters a new era with her album The Dark, shaped by a period of letting go, transformation and confronting inner shadows. Written from a place of becoming “the darkest thing in the woods”, it moves through darkness rather than away from it.

It sharpens her blend of mysticism, memory, grief and desire into something heavier and more immediate. Produced with Jennifer Decilveo and featuring collaborators from Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Tori Amos and Air.

Sharper and heavier than ever, The Dark is where beauty meets ruin.
