the north sea scrolls is the latest project from luke haines (auteurs / black box recorder) and co-conspirators cathal coughlan (microdisney / fatima mansions) and andrew mueller (journalist). the album is a recorded version of the north sea scrolls stage show. pop culture clashes semi-chaotically with the past throughout to tell us how things actually were. from 'broadmoor blues delta' to 'mr cynthia', it soon becomes clear that this is a history not created by the fevered minds of conspiracy theorists, but rather one that laughs in their faces.
