Think of this release, a Limited 4 CD Hardback Book boxset, as a sort of "Sunday Colour Supplement" to what you already know of Paul Brady's life in music - In a career that has produced a catalogue of great recordings and a well-documented autobiography, The Paul Brady Archive is an illuminating and essential gap filler - Throughout his sixty-years on the job, he has built up a large collection of material that has previously never or rarely been commercially available - This set is mainly comprised of unreleased recordings from his home studio, concert performances and radio/TV broadcasts - Additionally, there are a few collaborations with other artists that may have escaped the notice of even the most dedicated of his fans.

What prompted the production of this anthology is Paul's desire to share his collection rather than leave it unheard or hidden from sight in boxes. Although some of the illustrations have already been used in his autobiography Crazy Dreams, they are included again here because as vital elements in the context of this presentation.

The set is presented in a 12" square hardback book format with over seventy pages of images and contains four CDs with a total of sixty-four tracks. It is a limited edition of just one thousand copies and the CD albums are not available in digital format.
