The Second Bite Remixes

A key force in British electronic music, Fluke return with The Second Bite Remixes, released by Surface Records in association with !K7 Music. It follows The Second Bite, where Jon Fugler, Mike Tournier and Julian Nugent revisited twelve tracks from across the band’s history.

That set reworked favourites including Atom Bomb, Groovy Feeling and Absurd, keeping Fluke’s trademark groove and cinematic feel while adding sharp contemporary production. The result brought these ambitious recordings cleanly into the present without losing what made them distinctive in the first place.

For The Second Bite Remixes, Fluke hand the material to a brilliantly chosen cast of remixers. Nick Warren and Nicolás Rada, FAFF and sLEdger bring club weight, while Justin Robertson, Steve Cobby and Daniel Avery head into dubbier, downtempo territory.
