Loosely inspired by Nietzsche’s The Will to Power, Eidola’s seventh studio album explores the nature of power and its influence on humanity. At the end of 2025, the band travelled to Los Angeles for six days of writing with producer and engineer Stephan Hawkes, developing songs together in the studio.
Fronted by Andrew Michael Wells, the Salt Lake City group combines lyrics concerned with philosophy, theology, history and literature with instrumental passages spanning post-hardcore, metalcore, math rock, shoegaze and experimental rock.
