Recorded over four days in a church in West Sligo, There is an Island captures the Dublin folk trio’s decade-long evolution. Michelle O’Rourke, Benedict Schlepper-Connolly and Garrett Sholdice combine rich vocals, violin, guitar, piano and ethereal soundscapes, drawing on influences from Nick Cave to Planxty and Mozart.
