Things Are Getting Better

A seriously strong 1958 session, Things Are Getting Better brings together an inspired all-star line-up led by Cannonball Adderley and Milt Jackson. Adderley’s rich, expressive sax work sits beautifully alongside Jackson’s unmistakable vibraphone sound, making this one a real pleasure from start to finish.

They’re joined by Art Blakey on drums, Wynton Kelly on piano and Percy Heath on bass, a cast that more than lives up to the billing. A genuine all-star session, and a fine example of just how good a group of great players can sound together.
