Tormented To Rot

Vidarr are a groovy technical death metal band from the east of The Netherlands, and Tormented To Rot is their debut-album. In the early days, the band had several line-up changes, but now Vidarr consist of Hugo Heutinck (guitar), Thijmen de Groot (bass), Daan Winkelhorst (drums), Nico van den Hoek (guitar) and Wiljan Koster (vocals). After a year, with many shows, the band found their sound and were ready to record their first album. Influenced by Norse mythology and long forgotten battles, and inspired by extreme metal bands such as Slayer (thrash) and Mayhem (black), Vidarr play brutal death metal with many technical and groovy twists and turns.
