Transylvania 90210 - Songs of Death, Dying, and the Dead

Joe Poole, aka Wednesday 13, might not have invented horror punk, but he’s unmistakably his own creation. After four albums with Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13 and a spell fronting Murderdolls at the invitation of Slipknot’s Joey Jordison, his self-titled Wednesday 13 project became his most enduring outlet.

Released in 2005, Transylvania 90210—Songs of Death, Dying, and the Dead is gloriously trashy, funny, outrageous, and packed with hooks. It features the singles I Walked with a Zombie, whose promo video placed the band inside footage from Night of the Living Dead, and Bad Things, driven by its brilliantly venomous chorus.

Somehow never previously issued on vinyl, this horror rock favourite now arrives remastered for the format, pressed on lurid neon green wax. It also includes a colour inner sleeve and a custom label design overseen by Wednesday 13 himself, landing just in time for Halloween.
