Unicorn

Spare Snare's umpteenth album in lovely full colour digipack. This high-wired Dundee-based lo-fi outfit have been knocking out edgy angsty jangle-pop for the best part of 25 years now and show little signs of abating. Unicorn recalls mid-period Wedding Present (but Scottish), Velvet Underground, Nightingales and Fire Engines in varying measures and showcases the band's somewhat ramshackled but occasionally beautiful song-structures.
