Luckily nothing has changed in the world of Hope Sandoval (the queen of melancholy) - it's still dreamy, blissful, sensual and like no one else.

When the world first heard Mazzy Star in 1990, it was totally original and 26 years later she is still much copied but never bettered.

Standout cuts include "Let Me Get There" - a laidback duet with Kurt Vile, "Treasure" which mixes the Velvet Underground and Tindersticks, and "Liquid Lady" which is all breathy vocals and film noir twang.
