Until The Night

New Skeletal Faces presents their second studio album and Peaceville debut, showcasing a dark and electrifying fusion of Christian Death and Bathory.

It has been 7 years since the arrival of US Death Rock's rising sensation, New Skeletal Faces, on our planet. Formed in 2017, the trio of Errol Fritz, KRO, and Don Void present themselves as a cosmic abomination that blurs the genre lines between all manners of darkness in music.

NSF casts their own black light onto the long dormant corpse of Death Rock, shattering the mirror of modern Heavy Metal into fragments that reflect back a fresh new take on this form of music with an energized and outlandish conviction.

The band's Peaceville debut, 'Until The Night' (following 2019's 'Celestial Disease' full-length release), further enriches New Skeletal Faces' blending of the spirits of old. The album combines the seductive and spellbinding gothic prowess of bands such as Christian Death with the raw unbridled energy of early Swedish black metal legend, Bathory, to create a bold new statement of intent.

'Until The Night' is something akin to listening to the 1980s Sunset Strip in an alternate universe from hell. Recorded in Hollywood, California, the album was tracked, mixed, and mastered by producer/engineer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Wasp, DRI), capturing a richly-crafted, organic sound authentic to the legends of the past.

Bill Metoyer commented on the recording process, stating, "It was a pleasure working with New Skeletal Faces. A band who not only chose to NOT follow recent songwriting trends of so many other newer metal bands seem to do nowadays, but also the trends in the SOUND of their record."

With a string of electrifying live performances showcasing their wild and untamed personalities, New Skeletal Faces will take to the stage in support of the release of 'Until The Night', including upcoming dates with US heavy metal legends Pentagram.
