between 1990 and 1995, xl recordings issued a series of compilations (chapters) featuring the cream of the underground club hits of the day - the 12 inchers often specially re-mixed for these albums. in total, there were five uk chapters, one usa chapter and even a video chapter. while these dance albums traditionally featured basic packaging, this reissue celebrates the quality of xl recordings with a special 12" vinyl replica, gatefold xl pack, plus 8 collector's cards for each bands.
