Kill Alters returns to Hausu Mountain with We Can Rot Together, the project’s third album for the label. In this latest form, Bonnie Baxter takes the lead as sole composer, producer, and vocalist, pushing the project toward its most direct and dancefloor-ready music yet.

Across the record, Baxter channels 90s to Y2K rave energy through polyrhythmic techno electronics, four-on-the-floor kicks, saw wave synths, acid basslines, and synthetic orchestral stabs. Her vocals switch fast between styles, quoting 90s dance-pop while folding in surreal lyricism of her own.

We Can Rot Together plays like a lost cassette from an uncertain era, shaped by digital overload and internet detritus. As Baxter moves from chipmunk melodies to spoken-word tones, she turns modern “brain rot” into a strange, vivid escape that feels even better shared.
