‘What Went Wrong Last Night’ – Natasha Diggs Remixes

Acid Jazz presents the next instalment of the Spring Revisited series, in collaboration with Ace Records. Continuing the theme of top dance DJs and producer talent exploring the Spring Records catalogue, NYC’s ’45 Queen’ Natasha Diggs takes on Millie Jackson’s What Went Wrong Last Night over two sides.

After launching in 2025 with another Millie Jackson mix, Dimitri From Paris’ take on We Got To Hit It Off, the series has continued with a run of sell-out, chart-topping 12-inch and 7-inch releases, before a 2LP compilation.

With deep roots in New York’s club legacy, Natasha Diggs is a natural fit. The original 7-inch B-side is a regular in her DJ box, and its late-’70s message of female empowerment felt apt. She gives Pt. 1 an extended intro before building to a dancefloor frenzy on Pt. 2. Pt. 2 takes the A-side, while the B-side features both versions.
