one of the most essential of all smog albums. 1995's 'wild love' was a major leap from the lo-fi beginnings of 'forgotten foundation', 'sewn to the sky', and 'julius caesar' recorded with the likes of jim o'rourke, rian murphy and cynthia dall the album is a blend of forlorn sadness, surreal and unsettlingly confessional married to some of his most memorable tunes -'bathysphere', 'be hit' and the extraordinary 'prince alone in the studio' are amongst his finest to date.
