Will Of The People

Muse, a Grammy Award winning band, has released their long-awaited ninth studio album Will Of The People via Warner Records. Frontman Matt Bellamy describes the album as being created in Los Angeles and London, influenced by the increasing uncertainty and instability in the world.

Addressing the various global challenges such as a pandemic, new wars in Europe, protests and riots, attempted insurrection, and more, Will Of The People serves as a personal navigation through these fears and a preparation for what comes next.

True to their unique style, Muse does not conform to any singular genre. The album's title track "Will Of The People" brings a dystopian glam-rock vibe while tracks like "Verona" showcase nostalgic electronic textures with innocence and purity.

From the energetic "Won't Stand Down" to the heavy riffs of "Kill Or Be Killed," and the intense rush of "Euphoria," the album concludes with the brutally honest "We Are Fucking Fucked."

The band's new single, "Compliance," was produced by Muse with key collaborators including mixing by multiple Grammy Award winner Serban Ghenea, Dan Lancaster on "Won't Stand Down," and additional mixing by Aleks von Korff on "Kill Or Be Killed."
