Witchcraft is a collection of classic recordings from Candlemass' formative years, including the full Witchcraft demo and the O.A.L. studio recordings. Presented on black vinyl.

Candlemass was formed by bassist & songwriter Leif Edling in Stockholm, Sweden and is well known for its epic and pioneering brand of Doom Metal, having a great influence over a generation of the genre's subsequent greats - Candlemass themselves taking a large influence from Black Sabbath.

Featuring a string of legitimate timeless classic albums and a rich repertoire spanning multiple decades, Candlemass continues to impress to this day as true icons in the hallowed halls of Doom.

As the band approaches 40 years of existence, Witchcraft goes back to the early beginnings of the Swedish Doom legends and contains their initial recordings under the Candlemass moniker.

Even in these formative years, Edling and co demonstrate a clear vision of where this beast was heading, while already laying these strong foundations on the run-up to the recording sessions for the monumental debut album, 1986's Epicus Doomicus Metallicus.

Witchcraft features the classic 1985 demo in full, plus also the O.A.L. studio demo recordings laid to tape later that same year.
