Celebrating 20 years of hypnotic desert grooves and fuzz-soaked psychedelia, Dutch heavy rockers Drive By Wire return with XXYRS, a special anniversary compilation.

Formed in 2006 in Deventer by vocalist and guitarist Simone Holsbeek (previously known for her work with cult Dutch band The Cords) together with guitarist Alwin Wubben, the band has built a distinctive sound blending stoner rock heaviness with trippy, atmospheric vocals.

XXYRS gathers remastered highlights from the band’s catalogue, a brand new 2026 re-recording of the classic single ‘Dirt’ and the first ever physical release of the fan favourite ‘You Better Run’. A powerful journey through two decades of psychedelic desert rock.
