Young Animal Hearts

'Young Animal Hearts' is the debut album from Spring Offensive. This is a hymn book for the young and affected. 'Spring Offensive's' music was once described as akin to a quarter life crisis. A constant lyrical undercurrent of the challenges faced by young adults trying to carve out an identity in the world and the (universally felt) themes of obsession and self-doubt synonymous with this struggle. Yet 'Spring Offensive's' music is by no means maudlin. Dark, intense, even sinister at times, but fuelled by an energy, a creativity, a need to be heard that turns that introspection into something very outward and vivid.
