Young Skeletons: Unreleased 2010 - 2015

Prepare to gorge yourselves on 20 previously undeployed hits from the restless landscape of The Casuals Sexists' early years. These are far from mere forgotten experiments or half-assed/arsed demos however - every song included here is in its sumptuous fully fledged form, if a bit charmingly rough 'n' ready in places. The nascent Casuals laid down material at something of a ferocious rate, and often by the time one piece was completed, the duo's questing musical minds had already ventured to fresh plains. Most of this eclectic material - taking in post-punk, dancehall, funk and even showtunes - remained in the vaults as Varrick and Ed honed what would become their distinctive sideways pop sound, made public in 2015 with their debut EP, 'World of Noise'.The tracks are mostly arranged chronologically (at least according to Varrick and Ed's increasingly hazy memories of the times at which they were recorded), though chronological accuracy here and there has been eschewed in order to maximise stylistic consistency.
